Jeweller's KeyPad Plus offers transparent and secure management of an Ajax system. It controls security modes, activates Night Mode, and manages specific areas with a single device. KeyPad Plus supports Pass cards and Tag key fobs with DESFire® chips that are virtually impossible to hack, as well as various access codes. The device is connected wirelessly to a hub at a maximum distance of 1,700 m1. Batteries last up to 3.5 years.
KeyPad Plus supports contactless access devices, such as Pass cards or Tag key fobs, as well as codes for user authentication. Access information is available in Ajax apps. All events, including user activity and authentication details, can be viewed in the app log. The apps also allow administrators to grant, revoke, restrict, or terminate access permissions to specific users in real time.
When someone uses the Pass card or Tag key fob, it is recorded in the event log in the Ajax app. The administrator can revoke, restrict, or temporarily suspend access rights at any time. Administrators can also modify users' rights by expanding or limiting their access to specific areas.
KeyPad Plus supports the following code types:
Pass card and Tag keypad are equipped with original DESFire® chips and have the same functionality but with different cases. Users can choose the most convenient form for them. One Tag or Pass can manage up to 13 security systems. Access devices are sold separately in batches of 3/10/100.
To identify users quickly and securely, KeyPad Plus Jeweller is equipped with DESFire® technology. It is the industry-leading contactless solution for identifying the user via a card or key fob.
DESFire® complies with the international ISO 14443 standard and combines full 128-bit encryption with copy protection. This technology is also used in European capital transport systems and NASA access systems.
By simply assigning a personal access code in the hub settings, office employees, cleaning staff, or others can access the area with the utmost convenience.
KeyPad Plus is equipped with a panic button that triggers an alarm. The panic button can be set to notify users of the alarm, activate sirens, or run an automation scenario. If the user is forced to disarm the system, they can use a duress code. After the code is entered, the keypad simulates regular disconnection and sends an alarm to the security company. KeyPad Plus has a coercion code for the device and supports individual codes for up to 200 users3, including unregistered users.
KeyPad Plus is also an easy way to use automation scenarios. Simply change the security mode via keypad or press a panic button on the device. The Ajax system automatically turns off lights, water, and appliances. In addition, the system closes the shutters when the user leaves the premises and engages the system.
