Jeweller's MotionProtect Plus is a wireless IR motion detector equipped with dual detection technology including PIR and microwave sensors. The microwave sensor is activated only to confirm the detection triggered by the PIR motion sensor, ensuring accurate detection even in areas with significant thermal interference, such as those with air conditioners or active fireplaces.
The K-band microwave sensor scans a room to minimize false alarms caused by thermal interference. It works in conjunction with the PIR sensor and uses microwave technology only to verify alarms from the PIR sensor. Unlike conventional X-band sensors, the K-band sensor offers higher accuracy and energy efficiency. This results in a minimal impact on battery life and a significant reduction in false alarms. In addition, the sensor is completely safe and poses no harm to human health.
The pattern of Fresnel lens sections is designed to differentiate the IR patterns of a human, animal, and thermal noise. The large sections of the lens capture radiation at the head and torso level of an adult. The smaller sections make the diagram more detailed. The lens provides the detector with accurate information about the thermal object in the detection zone and the nature of its movement.
We have processed thousands of thermal patterns caused by humans, animals and the environment to develop the SmartDetect software algorithm. When inserted, the detector constantly analyzes the thermal pattern of the PIR sensor, including the intensity of IR radiation, the size of the heat spot, the speed of movement, the time spent in the detection zone, and other parameters. The algorithm identifies false alarm markers instantly and with high accuracy. As a result, the detector accurately responds to human motion without false alarms.
Baseline devices operate without cables, offering maximum flexibility during installation. The preinstalled CR123A battery from established manufacturers ensures easy setup, requiring no additional steps to start using the devices. In addition to real-time testing at the battery production stage, Ajax Systems inspects each unit to ensure the accuracy of battery characteristics. The battery is easily replaceable and can be replaced after about five years of autonomous operation. Battery status is always accessible through the Ajax app. Users and supervisors receive low battery alerts months in advance, enabling timely replacement without rushing:
