MotionProtect Curtain is a wireless curtain motion detector. The detector has a narrow horizontal detection angle and is designed for indoor perimeter monitoring: protection of windows, doors, and other entrances and exits of the monitored building. MotionProtect Curtain detects motion up to a distance of 15 meters.
MotionProtect Curtain works within the Ajax system, connecting to the hub via the Jeweller protected protocol. The communication range extends up to 1,700 meters in the open field. The detector operates for up to 3 years with the preinstalled battery.
The detector is configured via mobile application for smartphones running iOS and Android. The user is notified for all events via push notifications, SMS and calls (if activated).
The user can also connect Ajax to the central monitoring station of a security institution.
By analyzing signals from both PIR sensors, the detector immediately detects suspicious movements, sending instant notifications to the user and the alarm receiving center.
The Jeweller protocol ensures a stable and secure connection by encrypting transmissions and automatically jumping frequencies in case of interference.
With a battery life of up to 3 years and a sleek, unobtrusive design, the detector is an ideal choice for long-term protection.
The MotionProtect Curtain detector's IR sensors identify intrusions into a protected room by detecting moving objects with a temperature similar to that of the human body.
When the system is engaged, the detector receives signals emitted by two IR sensors at regular intervals. When motion is detected, the detector instantly transmits an alarm to the hub and signals it with the flashing green LED. In the event of an alarm, the hub activates the sirens and alerts the user and the security institution.
