Cold self-adhesive elastomeric-bituminous tape with high elastic modulus, laminated and protected with high-density polyethylene (HDPE) film.

 

Main applications:

• The tape is designed and developed for the anticorrosive and dielectric coating of steel pipes to be buried where good mechanical protection is required. Due to its high elastic modulus, FLEXBIT-100 is also suitable for primary coating of joints, bends, irregular surfaces. It is also suitable for waterproofing various types of roofing, vertical walls, foundation walls, ridges and flashings. Vapor barrier in cold storage and waterproofing in contact with numerous chemicals.

Method of use:

• Clean the surface to be treated well, spreading a light coat of FACOT adhesive primer if the surface is not metallic or perfectly smooth. Remove the non-stick protective film and apply the product with slight tension, overlapping the lateral and longitudinal flaps by at least 10 percent.

• Standard sizes in rolls of 10 meters x 1.0 mm thickness in heights 50 - 75 - 100 mm (other sizes on request)
