Overview:

• Compatible with all metals and plastics that make up a thermal system
• Anticorrosive protective agent for thermal and refrigeration systems
• By forming a monomolecular film on the walls of the systems, it eliminates thermal and gaseous stresses due to the coupling of dissimilar metals
• It also contains an effective biocide that can prevent, or at least greatly reduce, the development of algae and biological products inside the plant
• Uncontrolled development of algae or bacterial flora in fact creates impediments to the regular circulation of water within the system
  
  
   

Method of use:

• The product is recommended on both new and moderately dated, but NOT compromised, plants. After verifying the water content of the system and cleaning it with FERRONEX or ANTINEX depending on whether it is a new system or one that has been in existence for more than 6 months, introduce FILMAX+Thermakil® into the system through the most congenial point, using if necessary a loading pump or the FILTANK dosing system by connecting to a point in the system.
• It is recommended to use a minimum of 1 or 2 liters of product per 100 liters of circulating water, to achieve weakly alkaline pH values (8 to 9 approx.). However, the quantities are dependent on the system and the variety of metals in it and should be determined according to the hardness and purity of the water understood as the absence of corrosive ions and the operating temperature.
• Ensure that the circuit water has the values stipulated in DM 26 of 2015 and Standard 8065:2019, thus avoiding water that is too hard. Any overdoses have no contraindications, but will waste product. To be combined with antifreeze of good quality to supplement the anticorrosive action of the same, for example if the percentage of antifreeze of first use is less than 30 %, or after a period of exploitation of the same in the system. In any case, adhere to the provisions of UNI 8065:2019 or BS 7593/92, which set water treatments and limiting characteristics for domestic hot water, summer and winter air conditioning, and solar thermal systems in order to optimize performance, safety, and minimize energy consumption.
• The procedure can be conveniently monitored with a conductivity meter or turbidity meter, especially on medium to large systems > 1,000 L. We recommend contacting the Facot Chemicals technical department for this procedure. Follow the requirements of Standard 8065:2019 for subsequent controls.
