The Giacomini 1 1/4 inch check valve is designed to allow unidirectional passage of fluid, effectively preventing pressure backflow within systems. It is the ideal element for thermal, plumbing, industrial, agricultural and fire-fighting systems where reliability, strength and ease of maintenance are required.
Compatible with horizontal (with cap facing upward) and vertical (in upward flow only) installations, the valve easily adapts to any type of circuit while maintaining hydraulic performance.
The valve body and plug (clapet) are made of high-strength brass, while the NBR rubber seal seat ensures perfect closure even at low back pressures, with an opening pressure of only 0.05 bar. The optimized internals reduce pressure drop and improve fluid passage.
The presence of an inspectable plug allows quick interventions to clean the plug, reducing plant downtime. Ideal for systems prone to solid residues or dirt, it can be kept in perfect condition through simple periodic operations.
