Double inner and outer layer of PE-xB cross-linked polyethylene, made by silane method B, which guarantees chemical resistance and durability
Intermediate layer made of aluminum alloy, longitudinally welded with head-to-head TIG technology, which offers dimensional stability and total barrier to oxygen, preventing corrosion phenomena in water systems
Insulating sheath made of closed-cell PE-LD foam with scratch-resistant finish film for high mechanical and thermal protection
Ape multilayer pipe is certified for use in plumbing systems, including potable water distribution systems, heating and air conditioning systems. It offers:
High temperature and pressure resistance (up to 95°C and 10 bar in continuous operation)
Oxygen permeability of 0 mg/l, ensuring a system free of corrosion and algae or bacteria formation
Optimized thermal conductivity (0.04 W/mK at 40°C), contributing to the energy efficiency of the systems
Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight, as it may deteriorate the outer sheathing
Do not install in outdoor or unheated environments to ensure optimal performance and preserve material properties
