The Legrand Whad CAB model UPS is an uninterruptible power supply for protection in MV/LV transformer substations complying with CEI 0-16 standard, with high-frequency PWM technology, On Line Double Conversion type, through-neutral, Nominal Power 2500 VA, 1750 W, equipped with valve-regulated hermetic type storage batteries, contained inside the UPS in a special compartment or in one or more external cabinets, sized to ensure minimum autonomy.
The Whad CAB UPS is equipped with a CHARGE RESERVE that allows the batteries to maintain a reserve of power to ensure that the coil can always be reset and full cabin functionality restored. The UPS rectifier consists of a control and regulation circuit (PFC), which in addition to normal rectifier functions provides:
The bypass circuit is designed and implemented in accordance with the following: Electromechanical switch - Microprocessor-controlled command and control logic that provides:
In order to safeguard batteries from damage from deep discharge, the minimum allowable battery voltage threshold automatically varies according to the applied load (default setting), while allowing the user the option of selecting fixed voltage threshold management.
Diagnostic and shutdown software, when properly installed in a PC connected to the UPS, provides access to all operating data, makes adjustments and settings of special functions, and controls shutdown of Windows and Linux operating systems.
