Overview: FAASTLT-200 is an Aspirated Smoke Detection System and is designed for ease of installation and use. Specific for the many Class C applications where maintenance is difficult, where other smoke detection technologies are inappropriate or where the environment is hostile, or in areas where aesthetics are important. And also suitable for applications in areas where early Class A or B detection is required. FAASTLT200 combines proven suction detection technologies into a reliable smoke detection system that is easy to install. The device includes a new high-sensitivity detector, ultrasonic flow sensors, and advanced features for protecting areas with high-value components and personnel presence.

 

The device is quick to install and also easy to test thanks to the PIPE IQ LT design and configuration software that is included as standard. FAASTLT-200, in the addressable version from Loop, is available in single- and dual-channel models, thus offering maximum flexibility for different detection strategies. An extensive set of customizable settings allow optimization of device performance and meet a wide variety of operational requirements. Interfacing with the addressed Loop to Notifier control panels then allows easy integration into systems and easy management of the fire panel.

 

The sensor has Alarm and Fault signaling relays for each channel with the possibility of being programmed with alarm memory or following the event trend. Suction flow and fault signaling delays are programmable to meet requirements of specific local standards. A USB port allows connection to PC and to PIPE IQ LT software.
