The surge protector is a tool that can be mounted inside the electrical panel, thus upstream of the house system. Its use allows the electrical system on which it is installed to be protected.

 

The surge arrester will protect the entire system from surges, surges and spikes of electricity that may come from the power line operator, or from atmospheric phenomena such as lightning. These power anomalies can cause serious damage to devices connected to outlets.

 

A surge of electricity can cause the hardware of a pc to break, or short circuit the boards of smartphones, tablets, and home appliances.
