The room expander module is a device designed to expand the functionality of room terminals in nurse call and patient management installations, allowing up to 4 patient pushbuttons or bathroom pulls to be connected in addition to the one already integrated. This makes multi-bed or multi-service management possible, ideal for shared hospital rooms or assisted bathrooms.
The module is fully compatible with the CMTE1100 and CMTE1200 room terminals, from which it also receives the power necessary for its operation. Thanks to this integration, it is easily installed without the need for additional power supplies, simplifying system design.
The device has a footprint of 6 DIN modules, and can be mounted directly inside switchboards dedicated to the call system. Built-in terminals facilitate wiring with additional pushbutton panels, while dip switches allow logical configuration of the number of beds or bathroom rods connected.
