The Bticino F422A is a 2-module DIN interface designed for logical address expansion in SCS BUS-based MyHome systems. It is compatible with the F460, F461 home automation servers and the Classe300EOS with Netatmo indoor station, and allows 175 addresses to be added per installed module, up to a maximum of 525 total addresses.
Logical expansion of MyHome addresses
Each interface adds 175 addresses
Compatible with: F460 and F461 servers (up to 2 interfaces max 525 addresses) - Class 300EOS (1 interface max 350 addresses)
DIN 2 module installation
Exclusive address expansion mode (not compatible with other functions of F422 version)
Status LEDs on front panel (power, error, configuration)
C key for automatic/manual configuration
Dedicated IN/OUT terminals for connection to the two BUS segments
Backup & restore support for upgrade from MHS1 server
Installable only on systems with upgraded MyHOME compatible servers

With the F422A interface it is possible to significantly expand the capacity of the MyHome system, exceeding the native limit of 175 addresses provided per single server. The use of one or two interfaces allows the implementation of large home automation systems while maintaining a single functional architecture.
The device allows communication between two BUS branches, treating them as separate installations, each with its own installation rules. Front LEDs signal the status of the system:
On steady: correct power supply and configuration
Off: power supply or BUS failure
Flashing: error or configuration absent
Thanks to compatibility with the Home + Project lapp, the interface can be configured quickly, even remotely. Also supported is the backup & restore function, which allows upgrading existing installations with MHS1 servers without the need for manual reconfiguration.
