Curve C and Differential Protection Type A

Curve C provides optimal protection in circuits with mixed loads, such as household outlets and lighting systems. It is perfect for loads with medium inrush currents (5-10 times rated current), preventing unwanted trips during normal operation.

Type A differential circuit breaker tripping is assured for alternating sinusoidal differential currents and pulsating unidirectional differential currents applied suddenly or slowly increasing (IEC EN 61008-1).
