Thermal-magnetic circuit breaker ential is, therefore, a system that combines the functions of the circuit breaker with magnetic and thermal characteristics.
The magnetothermal differential switch in the electrical system integrates three different protections:
- the magnetic one for short circuits that can endanger an entire building with the danger of fire
- the thermal one for overloads in the supply of electricity (for example, more than one appliance in operation)
- the differential one proper to the earth leakage circuit breaker, which protects the subject from a current leakage
The AC-type differential circuit breaker the tripping is ensured for suddenly or slowly increasing applied sine-sine differential alternating currents.
