LOVATO interface protection for medium voltage systems etc PMVF30

The PMVF 30 interface protection system (PI) has been designed in accordance with standard CEI 0-16 and is used when connecting a local generation system in parallel with the distributor's medium voltage network. The controls concern voltage and frequency limits. SPI must intervene by de-energizing a relay output in order to trip the interface device (DDI) in case at least one of the voltage and frequency are outside the allowed limits. PMVF 30 is equipped with inputs with the following functions:

• DDI status feedback
• Disable interface protection
• Local control
• Telescoping (forced opening of the DDI regardless of voltage and frequency values).

In addition, there are 2 relay outputs for:

• DDI opening
• programmable output (configured by default to open the tamping device or configurable for automatic reclosure if the DDI is a circuit breaker).
