FTG18OM16 flexible energy cable is designed to ensure optimal performance and maximum safety in the most critical environments. Certified according to the Construction Products Regulation, this cable ensures fire resistance for up to 120 minutes at 830 degrees, limiting the production of toxic and corrosive fumes. Its structure makes it ideal for electrical installations in civil and industrial buildings where it is essential to ensure continuity of operation even in case of fire.
The cable is made of high-performance materials to ensure strength and safety:
Class 5 annealed red copper conductor, highly flexible for easy laying
Mica fire barrier, which protects the conductor from intense heat
Insulation made of HEPR G18, a high-modulus elastomeric rubber that provides excellent mechanical and thermal protection
Filler made of non-fibrous, non-hygroscopic material to prevent moisture infiltration
LSZH M16 (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheathing, which minimizes the spread of fire and the emission of toxic fumes
Designed to withstand demanding operating conditions, with a rated voltage of 0.6/1 kV AC - 1.8 kV DC and a test voltage of up to 4000V. Its thermal characteristics make it ideal for high-temperature applications:
Maximum operating temperature: +90°C
Maximum short circuit temperature: up to +250°C (cross-sections ?240 mm²)
Electrical resistance: 0.206 Ohm/km
Current carrying capacity: 269 A in pipe in air, 217 A buried
In addition, it can withstand a maximum pull stress of 50 N/mm² during installation, with a minimum bending radius of 12 times the outside diameter (12D) for safe and efficient installation.
Due to its advanced construction and fire-resistant features, it is ideal for:
Powering electrical systems in civil and industrial buildings
Fire and security systems in public places
Electrical systems in tunnels, tunnels, subways, airports and railway stations
Laying in indoor and outdoor environments, including wet (AD6)
Installations on masonry, metal structures, gutters, walkways and suspended
Direct or indirect underground laying, ensuring versatility and safety
