The Siemens FDCI221 module is a versatile device for managing digital inputs and outputs within the FDnet/C-NET line of detectors. With a monitorable input, it is ideal for reporting technical statuses or triggering alarms, such as in use with sprinkler systems or engineering control systems. The system integrates easily into the safety network with power supply and communication fully managed via FDnet/C-NET.

 

LED indicator for status, fault and test

 

This module is equipped with an LED that indicates input and output status, as well as indications for fault, test, and location. Visual indicators improve the effectiveness of monitoring by providing immediate visual control of the module's operating condition, which is particularly useful in high-security environments.

 

Flexible installation and electronic protection

 

The Siemens FDCI221 offers several mounting options: it can be installed directly on the surface or mounted in series on a TS35 rail. The housing is transparent to provide visibility to the LED indicators, and the electronics are protected for durability. In wet environments, the additional FDCH221 enclosure can be used for advanced protection.
