The Siemens DB721 fire detector base is designed to offer maximum compatibility with OOH740 point detectors, both in Cerberus PRO FD720 technology installations and in collective mode (BS 5839-1 standard).
Thanks to the loop contact (loop), the DB721 ensures line continuity even in the absence of the detector. This reduces the risk of interruptions in the detection loop and allows greater flexibility during installation or maintenance.
The DB721 base can be used in installations:
Collective, directly compatible without modification
Addressed, by simply removing the diode to ensure proper operation with the Cerberus PRO control panel
Compatible with recessed or wall-mounted cable entry (up to Ø 8 mm), this base is ideal for a wide range of applications in residential, industrial and commercial environments. Its compact size makes it easy to integrate even in small spaces.
