Scotchcast 3M 90-NA-3 resin cable joints are used to splice or connect unshielded multicore polymer cables with XLPE insulation and center conductors from 25 sq. mm to 50 sq. mm.
The 3M 90-NA-3 cable splice kit can be used for indoor and outdoor, underground and submerged splices and for connecting unarmored, 600 V/1000 power cables.
3M Scotchcast 470W resin has a shelf life of at least 36 months when stored at a temperature between 10°C and 40°C with a humidity level <75% in the originally sealed bag. The expiration date of each cable joint is stated on the product label. Storage beyond the date specified on the 3M Scotchcast label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case, however, it is the responsibility of the user to determine the applicability of the resin.
