Advanced functionality and protection

The Abb circuit breaker, integrates three basic levels of protection:

  • Magnetic protection: takes immediate action in the event of a short circuit, preventing damage to the system and reducing the risk of fire
  • Thermal protection: detects current overloads, such as the simultaneous use of multiple appliances, breaking the circuit to prevent overheating
  • Differential protection: protects people from accidental current leakage, ensuring safety in accordance with IEC EN 61008-1

Being an AC type breaker, it is designed to detect alternating sinusoidal leakage currents, either applied suddenly or progressively.

Compact design and easy installation

Designed for easy installation on DIN rail, occupying 2 modules. Screw terminals ensure secure attachment, with a tightening torque of 2.8 Nm and a cable stripping length of 12 mm.

With the clear indication of the contact position (red ON, green OFF), the user can immediately check the status of the switch.

Its compact size makes it suitable for electrical panels with limited space.
