The Ducati F60 5kVAR three-phase capacitor is designed for fixed power factor correction of transformers and local power factor correction of electric motors, being particularly useful in industrial systems with distributed inductive loads. It is also perfect as a module for automatic power factor correction batteries due to its high reliability and ease of installation.
The compact design and outer casing made of class V2 insulating material according to UL94 standard offer a ground-free installation. Integrated feet enable quick vertical mounting, making it a universal capacitor that is convenient to assemble.
The Ducati F60 capacitor ensures stable operation at nominal frequency of 50 Hz, but is also compatible with 60 Hz networks. Dielectric losses of less than 0.2 W/kVAR and internal discharge resistors increase its efficiency, reducing the risk of residual overvoltages at the end of the cycle.
When switched on, it can withstand peak currents of up to 200 times rated current, while resistance to overloads of up to 4 times rated current (7 A) is guaranteed.
