The SR2 / SRH2 tubes are designed to offer reliable and durable protection in industrial environments and demanding electrical applications. The 3:1 shrink ratio allows coverage of a wide range of diameters, making them ideal for cable joints and terminations subject to mechanical stress, moisture, or critical environmental conditions.
The version with thermoplastic adhesive stands out for its high sealing capacity against moisture, enhancing the durability of wiring and preventing oxidation or electrical leakage. The adhesive activates during shrinkage, ensuring perfect adherence to the underlying materials.
Made of cross-linked polyolefin, the tubing is:
Halogen, lead, and cadmium-free
Non-corrosive and melt-resistant
UV stabilized and resistant to chemicals
Labelable for professional applications and traceability
The shrink temperature is above 125 degrees, with an operating range from -40 to +120 degrees, ensuring dimensional stability and flexibility even in extreme conditions.
The tubing features:
Tensile strength: 13 Mpa
Elongation at break: 350% (250% after thermal aging)
Dielectric strength: 25 kV/mm
Volume resistivity: 10¹·cm
Additionally, it maintains excellent performance even after 168 hours at 150 °C, according to IEC 60684-2 tests.
Electrical insulation of joints and branches
Mechanical and chemical protection of cables
Sealing against moisture in indoor and outdoor installations
Suitable for industrial installations, electrical panels, automation, automotive wiring
