The Active Driver inverter is a command and control device for an electric pump, which includes connections to the hydraulic system, a pressure sensor, a flow sensor and an electronic frequency converter (inverter). LActive Driver is applied to the discharge of each electric pump regulates the rotational speed of the electric pump to which it is connected, so as to obtain constant pressure as the required water flow rate changes. The water flowing through the Active Driver Plus connections also helps to cool the heat produced by the internal electronic components.

TheActive Driver starts the pump at the first demand for water. The speed of the pump is adjusted (continuously) to the minimum value such that the user's demand is met. This provides significant energy savings. In a group, the startup of the second and third pumps occurs in cascade when the first pump reaches its maximum speed. The pressure is adjustable by the user via two keys + and - located on Active Driver (as a rule, all pumps are set to the same pressure value).

 

Pumps are stopped automatically in the following cases:

• Pump overcurrent
• Dry running
• Low supply voltage
• Exceeding a maximum pressure value (adjustable)
• Active Driver Plus electronic components overheating.
