IR600 is a detector with a passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor that can detect movement in an assigned area and report it to the control control unit to trigger an intrusion alarm. The base of the product has provisions for holes that allow installation on a flat surface or in a corner. The detector has a tamper switch that is activated when the cover is opened. It can also send an alert to indicate a communication or low battery problem.

The detector is designed to operate with a detection range of 12 meters, mounted at a height of 2 meters from the ground.

Installation: The detector is designed to be mounted on a flat surface or in a corner using the supplied mounting screws and dowels. There are provisions for holes on the base, where the plastic is thinner and can be broken for the purpose of mounting. Two hole arrangements are for surface mounting, while four hole arrangements are for corner mounting.
