Thedisconnector, otherwise called voltage isolator, has the same features of a switch, but on a larger scale: it is, in fact, responsible for closing the flow of energy to the power plants. This serves mainly to ensure the safety of the plant and primarily of the people who work inside since one of its peculiarities is to separate the flow of energy from the working environments. Another peculiarity of this instrument is the ability to detect defects in the electrical flow and isolate them. When the defect is corrected, the disconnector will ensure that the current flows normally again.
