This item is used for manual signaling of an alarm. For this model, pressure on the middle part of the glass is sufficient for it to break and actuate an internal switch. A tool is supplied with the switches to perform the TEST, open the cover, and replace the slide. The lighting of a red LED indicates the alarm status.
