Cable designed for enclosed power distribution where controlled fire reaction and reduced emission of smoke and toxic gases is required. LS0H elastomeric compound insulation of G17 quality makes it ideal for installations in schools, hospitals, cinemas, shopping malls and other public buildings.
This cable is capable of working under demanding conditions, with a maximum operating temperature of 90°C and short-circuit resistance of up to 250°C. The flexible annealed red copper conductor, with a cross-section of 240 mm², allows a current carrying capacity of up to 490 A (at 30°C in air tube), with an electrical resistance of only 0.0801/km.
Designed for fixed electrical installations inside exposed or recessed piping, lighting fixtures, switchboards, and control devices, it is not suitable for outdoor installation but excels in indoor environments with stringent safety requirements. In protected installations, it can operate up to 1000 V AC or 750 V DC to ground.
With a conductor diameter of 19.9 mm and a 2.2 mm thick insulation, the cable achieves an outer diameter of 25.2 mm while maintaining good handling during installation due to its flexible construction. The minimum bending radius is four times the outer diameter, ensuring compatibility with small installation spaces.
