The UL/FM grooved quick-connect bracket fitting is the ideal solution for making reliable shunts on piping in plumbing and fire protection systems. The grooved connection system simplifies installation by reducing installation time and equipment requirements, eliminating the need for welding, flanging or threading.
Equipped with an EPDM gasket, the fitting provides excellent sealing even under extreme temperature conditions. Thermal resistance from -34 to +110 degrees makes it ideal for air conditioning, heating, cooling or firefighting systems, with the possibility of using water/glycol mixtures up to 15 percent.
Installation involves preparing the pipe, removing burrs, inserting the gasket with associated alignment of the outlet body, bolting and checking tightness. All with a quick assembly that maintains spaces between the upper and lower parts for proper positioning.
