Water always contains sand, iron shavings and other solid foreign bodies that are dragged along the distribution network of waterworks. These impurities should not enter a home's plumbing network as they cause deep point corrosion, damaging faucets, valves and appliance mechanisms.
The Cillit Top Self-Cleaning Safety Filter is a true self-cleaning filter because deposited impurities are integrally removed from the filter element, i.e., only impurities precipitated at the bottom are not discharged.
The Cillit Top self-cleaning filter during the washing phase, a unique feature of Cillit filters, also delivers filtered water during the washing phase. In this way it is never necessary to interrupt the water supply to the users, an important feature in the case of multi-family houses or production processes where the supply of filtered water must not be interrupted.
The installation of the device must be done in accordance with current regulations and must be carried out by a qualified installer. The Cillit®-Top is installed on the incoming cold water pipe from the waterworks, or upstream of the hydraulic circuit to be protected.
