The Giacomini adapter is designed to ensure a reliable and safe connection between plastic or multilayer pipes and manifolds or terminals of thermohydraulic systems. Made of corrosion-resistant brass, it is fitted with EPDM O-rings conforming to EN 681-1, ensuring a durable hydraulic seal.
This adapter stands out for its versatility: it can be used with different types of pipes and is used in both heating and plumbing systems. Its maximum operating pressure is 10 bar, while its operating temperature is up to 110°C, making it suitable for even demanding operating conditions.
Perpendicular cutting of the pipe with R990 (plastic) or R990M (multilayer) shear
Deburring of the inlet with RP205 tool
Calibrating the pipe (only for multilayer pipes) with RP209
Lubricating the sealing elements and the inside of the pipe
Inserting the cap on the pipe
Insert the bicone
Add the parting ring (multilayer only)
Insert the hose barb until it stops
Connect to the terminal of the plumbing system
Tighten the cap on the fitting
