Griffon Kolmat sealant is the ideal choice for ensuring maximum sealing of metal threaded connections in systems of all types: water, gas, heating and compressed air. It does not harden, does not shrink and can be applied and reopened easily, even after time, ensuring versatility and professional reliability.
Ideal for:
Threaded connections in plumbing systems
Fittings in gas and compressed air systems
Central heating systems
Drinking and hot water up to +130°C
Not suitable for pure oxygen systems
Preparation:
Clean and degrease threads thoroughly
Application:
Wrap hemp or acrylic fiber around the thread (following the direction of the thread)
Spread sealing paste generously over the entire thread
Screw the fitting on. The product allows for repositioning if necessary
