Unlike conventional air conditioners with 4 directing fins, the Samsung Cassetta 360 uses 3 Booster Fans to create a vacuum and divert airflow without the need for baffles. The result is an even and pleasant "sprinkler" distribution with a temperature difference reduced to 0.6°C compared to 2.3°C in conventional models.
The presence of fins or diffusers in general constitutes a pressure drop for the units' fan; Cassette 360, having no directing fins, makes it possible to zero these losses by taking full advantage of the air flow provided by the fan.
Air delivery is regulated without the use of fins: by means of 3 Booster Fans a depression is created within a circular cavity in the cassette that deflects the outgoing direction of the air. The coanda effect is thus exploited for a "rain" distribution of air, making the room especially comfortable.
