The Mitsubishi MSZ-AY 9000 BTU (2.5 kW) Wi-Fi Plus Line is a DC Inverter/Heat Pump air conditioner designed for maximum comfort, energy efficiency and cleaner air.
With an ultra-compact design, 18 dB(A) quiet operation and built-in MELCloud technology, it offers excellent performance for home environments such as bedrooms and living areas.

MSZ-AY units feature ultra-compact dimensions, with only 2 size levels for 6 different power ratings.
Thanks to careful design and the introduction of R32 refrigerant, the efficiency of the new MSZ-AY units is greatly increased, achieving A+++ class in cooling (sizes 25 and 35) and A++ class in heating (sizes 25 to 50) across the entire lineup (on a scale of A++ to D).
The new MSZ-AY is equipped with a new installation jig. The new jig has a large central hole that makes installation easier, especially with prearrangement boxes.
The Plasma Quad PLUS system is an active filtration system that can inhibit up to 99% of viruses, bacteria, mold and PM2.5 in the air, up to 98% of allergens and pollens, and up to 99.7% of dust mites and dust.
With the MSZ-AY unit, Mitsubishi Electric introduces another revolutionary technology: dual barrier coating. During operation, dust and impurities introduced during air conditioning operations are deposited on internal components, especially the battery and fan, increasing the machine's power consumption by up to 18%. With Dual Barrier Coating, the internal components of MSZ-AY are treated with a second protective layer that prevents dust and impurities from being deposited even after long periods of time, reducing consumption and eliminating the need for maintenance of the unit relative to this issue.
The new "Self Clean" function found on MSZ-AY allows the indoor unit to dry out after the cooling click is complete, preventing the formation of mold and odor.
Without Self Clean Mode: When turned off, the air conditioner keeps small droplets of moisture inside, favoring the occurrence of mold and bad odo With Self Clean Mode: After turning off from cooling or dehumidification mode, the air conditioner activates microventilation, completely drying out any water particles and keeping the evaporator clean.
Environmental comfort is also related to sound level and is important especially in bedrooms or studies. The MSZ-AY line makes it possible to ensure the ideal climate all year round with a sound level virtually undetectable by the human ear. The 18dB(A) achieved by the MSZ-AY model (sizes 25 and 35) is quieter than the noise generated by rustling leaves in the wind, making the air conditioner effectively inaudible to the occupants of the room. This is why MSZ-AY is particularly suitable for home environments such as bedrooms and living areas, where we spend most of our time and carry out our daily activities.

Thanks to the presence of the motorized louver, it is possible to direct the airflow to achieve maximum comfort in the room in each operating mode (sizes 25-50). In addition, the horizontal flow eliminates annoying drafts to occupants.
The new MSZ-AY offers the user experience of MelCloud built into the air conditioner, allowing the user to remotely manage the main functions of the air conditioner through the Wi-Fi controller and monitor its operation and energy consumption. In addition, by means of the new built-in wifi adapter, connection with the router is even easier!
