The CH130ARR2 kit is a complete solution for managing 2- or 4-pipe fan coils. Consisting of a CH130AR2 thermostat and a CH176D actuator, it offers precise temperature control for both heating and cooling, ensuring maximum efficiency and comfort:
Temperature control: Automatic control for heating and cooling
Fan-coil motor management: Compatible with 3-speed + automatic or 0-10V motors
Valve control: Control of one or two valves for 2- or 4-pipe configurations
Remote control: Thermostat-actuator connection via bipolar cable
Automatic thermoregulation: Optimizes room comfort based on sensed temperature

The CH130ARR2 unit is a kit consisting of a CH130AR2 thermostat and a CH176D actuator, which connected to each other via a two-pole cable, allow remote control of the two valves, the three-speed motor, or a 0 ..10V motor, of a fan coil unit (2- or 4-pipe fan-coil). The thermostat detects the room temperature and, by acting on the valves and the speed of the fan-coil motor, performs temperature control to achieve the best climatic comfort.
CH130AR2 thermostat:
CH176D Actuator:
Complies with standards: EN 60730-2-9; EN 60730-1; ErP classification: ErP Class I; 1% (EU Reg. 811/2013 - 813/2013)
CH130ARR2 is powered by the actuator and can drive two valves and control a 3-speed fan coil motor or a 0-10V motor. The large display shows the measured temperature, fan speed, current program, and selected season. Settings and data are stored in a nonvolatile memory that retains them even in the absence of supply voltage or batteries (depending on model). The two-core, non-polarized cable that connects the thermostat to the module has the dual function of: thermostat power supply, communication bus between thermostat and actuation module. A single thermostat can be connected to multiple actuators, so that more than one fan coil unit can be controlled simultaneously with only two cables
To switch from winter operation (heating system) to summer operation (cooling system), and vice versa, press the key combination 1+2. The selected operation is indicated on the display by the WINTER or SUMMER icons.
COMFORT with this mode of operation, the thermostat adjusts the operation of the heating or cooling system to maintain the same set comfort temperature at all times
ECONOMY with this mode of operation, the thermostat adjusts the operation of the heating or cooling system to always maintain the same economy temperature setting
OFF (OFF), is obtained by setting the ventilation speed to zero, in this case the thermostat does not make adjustment. The system shuts down completely, and OFF appears on the display.
MANUAL: the fan speed is manually set to 3 levels (minimum, medium, maximum)
AUTO: if set to AUTO, the thermostat will automatically set the appropriate speed according to the difference between the setpoint and room temperature
The CH130AR2 thermostat has a TECHNICAL MENU to adapt it to different types of systems.
2-Pipe system: the thermostat only pilots the valve (ON/OFF type) dedicated to both heating and cooling, in fact the valve will manage both hot and cold water
4-Pipe system: the thermostat drives one valve (ON/OFF type) dedicated to heating and a second valve (ON/OFF type) dedicated to cooling according to the need of the room
RESTORATION: Instead of the CH130AR2's internal probe to the thermostat, an external probe can be used to read the room temperature and perform temperature control. Typically this probe is placed under the fancoil where the air is drawn in.
CHANGEOVER: the outdoor temperature probe can be placed on the fancoil discharge pipe of a 2-pipe system to make the automatic change between summer and winter operation
WINDOW / MINIMUM THERMOSTAT CONTACT: when the contact is open the thermostat performs thermoregulation, when it is closed it does not perform thermoregulation
WINDOW CONTACT / MINIMUM THERMOSTAT INVERTED: the window contact operates with logic reversed from what is defined in step 3
NO OPERATION: the probe input is not operated by the thermostat
