The P13E is a carbon monoxide detector designed for residential and commercial use. Equipped with an electrochemical cell sensor, the device quickly and accurately detects the presence of carbon monoxide in the environment. Its shockproof housing made of insulating material ensures strength and durability, while its compact design (120 mm wide, 80 mm high and 30 mm deep) makes it easy to place in any room.

The Fantini Cosmi P13E detector is ideal for rooms such as bedrooms or busy rooms, as it is designed to be mounted at a height of 0.8 to 1.2 meters from the floor, at a point where air movement is not impeded by furniture or obstacles. The device is perfect for monitoring air quality and occupant safety, particularly in the presence of stoves, boilers, or other combustion appliances that could generate carbon monoxide.

Operation

P13E is a device that uses a special sensor to signal the presence of carbon monoxide (CO) concentrations in domestic environments. Carbon monoxide is a very dangerous gas as it is odorless and colorless and in some cases can cause death by asphyxiation. Although this device helps in detecting leaks of this gas, it cannot prevent the chronic effects resulting from CO exposure.

When the concentration of CO reaches the alarm condition, P13E takes action based on the concentration of carbon monoxide in the environment and the persistence of this condition according to EN 50291, and in particular:

• 30 PPM, the device gives no alarm in less than 120 minutes

• 50 PPM, the device gives the alarm within 60-90 minutes

• 100 PPM, the device gives the alarm within 10-40 minutes

• 300 PPM, the device gives the alarm within 3 minutes
  
  

In alarm mode, the red LED flashes three times every four seconds, with each flash on for about 0.3 seconds. At the same time, the buzzer is accompanied by an audible reminder when the LED lights up, with each sound lasting about 0.3 seconds. When the detected CO concentration no longer meets the alarm condition, the system automatically returns to the normal monitoring mode.
