The nipple is made of malleable cast iron and offers a minimum tensile strength of 350 N/mm² and a maximum Brinell hardness of 150 HB. This ensures that the product withstands high pressures and temperatures, up to 25 bar at 20 °C and 20 bar up to 300 °C.
The zinc coating, applied by immersion in a molten zinc bath, provides a 70-micron protective layer, imparting excellent anti-corrosive properties even under harsh conditions.
Designed for use in water, compressed air, fuel gas and hydrocarbon systems, this threaded nipple is ideal for domestic, industrial and civil applications. Perfect for connections between pipes of different diameters.
