Motor protection circuit breakers are protective devices for the main circuit, combining control and motor protection in one device.

 

The manual motor starter offers a rated short-circuit service interruption capability Ics = 10 kA at 400 VAC and trip class 10 A.

 

Additional features include a built-in disconnect function, temperature compensation, free tripping mechanism, and a rotary handle with a clear indication of the switch position.

 

The manual motor starter is suitable for three-phase and single-phase applications.

 

Auxiliary contacts, signaling contacts, minimum-voltage releases, shunt releases, three-phase busbars, power supply blocks, and locking devices to protect against unauthorized modifications are available as accessories.


 

The motor protector is installed on the cable supplying the motor and, when the motor stalls due to a mechanical effect or (in three-phase systems) because a phase fails, it detects excessive absorption and automatically cuts off the power supply, safeguarding the integrity of the motor.
