Safeguarding the installation:

• The electric lock enables installations that better withstand the stresses applied to the leaves in swing gates, especially large ones, such as thrusts from people or forces generated by wind action. These forces are discharged onto the electromechanical lock rather than the gearmotor, which is thus preserved, giving it a longer life and better operation over time.
  
  

External opening:

• The EBP A electric lock can be installed either on swing gates that open inward or on gates that open outward (the strike plate with the hole in the ground should be installed with the slide oriented in the appropriate direction).
  
  

Design:

• The new aesthetics of the product have been updated-in line with Bft's modern style-allowing it to integrate well into the installation context.
  
  
  

Reversible operator offerings complement:

• The electric lock is an essential accessory for the realization of installations involving the use of reversible operators, so as to guarantee the locking of the leaves when closing
  
  
  

Range rationalization:

• Specific models of electric lock with the external (street side) key block disappear. In all models of the new EBP A, the special accessory of the external key block, available in two sizes of 52 or 75mm, can be added at any time. The accessory also includes the inner block, having the same key as the outer one, which is to be substituted for the one in the electric lock.
  
  

Simplicity of a single key for the entire system:

• It is possible to request the new EBP A with a specific internal key block, or to request the accessories with the internal and external blocks with a specific key number, so that the same key can be used to unlock the operator, operate the selector switch, and release the electric lock.
