The CDVI badge holder pocket is a device designed to optimize energy consumption within hospitality facilities such as hotels and bed & breakfasts by ensuring that electricity is turned on only when a valid badge is inserted. Unlike more advanced RFID readers, the PS20LL detects only the 125 kHz card frequency, avoiding management costs associated with associating specific badges.
The pocket can handle a maximum load of 30A at 220V, equivalent to 6.6 kW, allowing air conditioners, lights and outlets to be powered simultaneously. Upon removal of the badge, power is cut off after 15 seconds, providing sufficient time to safely leave the room.
Important note: The device does not include the contactor, which is needed to drive high loads.
Small size and sleek design allow discreet integration within the room. The product comes with a standard pre-assembled box and is not compatible with 503 flush-mount boxes.
