The disconnector, otherwise referred to as voltage disconnector, has the same as a circuit breaker, but on a larger scale: it is, in fact, responsible for shutting off the flow of energy to electrical distribution power plants. This serves primarily to ensure the safety of the power plant and primarily of the people working inside it since one of its special features is to separate the flow of energy from working environments. Another special feature of this instrument is its ability to be able to detect defects in the electrical flow and isolate them. When the defect is then corrected, the disconnector will make the current flow normally again.
