Scotch 23 Self-amalgamating Insulating Tape is a high-voltage self-amalgamating adhesive tape from the famous 3M brand.

 

It is manufactured from ethylene propylene (ERP) and has a thickness of 0.76 mm. The width of the tape is 19 mm, and the roll has a total length of 9.15 meters. Its main application is in coating high voltage splices and terminals.

 

It can be used as insulation in electrical splices up to 69 kV.
