The string fittings for multilayer pipe are nickel-plated externally and yellow internally to comply with DM174, and are designed and manufactured to ensure high reliability over time. As they do not require special assembly equipment, they greatly facilitate the installer in installation.
Equipped with double o-rings that guarantee tightness in combination with the sawtooth profile of the hose holder and a PE ring to eliminate any stray currents, they are used for all kinds of plumbing and heating systems.
The seal between the pipe and the single-body fitting is ensured by the sawtooth anti-slip profile of the hose barb and the presence of two o-rings positioned on the hose barb itself. The coupling of the pipe is done by compression: a radial compression given by the screwing of the nut that causes the shrinkage of the ogive cut around the pipe. The presence of the PE washer insulates the aluminum of the pipe and from the brass of the fitting, preventing the occurrence of corrosive phenomena.
