APL series press fittings, made in accordance with UNI EN ISO 21003-3, UNI EN 1254-3 and DM 174, are designed and manufactured to increase sealing characteristics and reduce assembly time, thus facilitating the installer in installation. Equipped with a double o-ring seal and a polyamide ferrule to support the pipe-tightening sleeve, they are used in hydro-thermo-sanitary installations.

 

Unlike compression fittings, the coupling of press fittings has the special characteristic of being immovable: this means that, if pressed properly, the APL fitting undergoes permanent deformation that guarantees tightness over time. Precisely for this reason, press-fit coupling is the only system used and guaranteed in undercutting installation.
