All fittings are manufactured according to current standards: UNI EN 12165 for stamped parts and UNI EN 12164 for bar stock parts; threaded ends of the 8000 Series are made in accordance with UNI EN 10226-1 (tight fit on thread) and where specifically specified in accordance with UNI ISO 228-1 (non-tight fit on thread).

 

The material used is brass CW617N-DW in accordance with the European Drinking Water Directives. The production of threaded fittings takes place in IBP Group factories certified UNI EN ISO 9001 and UNI EN ISO 14001, according to the most advanced production processes; strict controls during processing and final tests are a further guarantee of the quality of the finished products. All elastomeric elements present are black EPDM conforming to EN 681-1 suitable for the transport and distribution of water intended for human consumption (potable).

 

The use of anaerobic liquid sealants or Teflon is recommended as an alternative to hemp. In order to avoid leakage and/or triggering of potential rupture points, avoid applying excessive torque during installation.
