A-M series cable lugs are made from electrolytic copper tubing of a cross-section that provides both a good electrical connection and adequate tensile strength. They are annealed and surface protected by electrolytic tinning. They are made from Cu-OF CW008A electrolytic copper tube according to UNI EN 13600.
The annealing process optimizes the structural characteristics of the material, thus allowing easier compression and guaranteeing the use of the lug under mechanical stresses of various kinds. The collar is provided with a chamfer and inspection hole for easy and correct introduction of the conductor; its length is also such that it can be easily and accurately positioned inside the tool dies.
