SolarFlat is an aluminum alloy profile designed to enable PV installations on flat or pitched roofs with trapezoidal sheet metal and orthogonal fastening. The application is fast, thanks to quick installation through ALG rivets, and convenient: the PV module can be installed quickly through clamps and easy cross joints through the top slot using FNC AL hammerhead nut, MW bracket and SKS M 8 hex head screw.


 

Assembly:

• Choose the most suitable installation between SolarFlat whole profile and define the spacing of the fasteners according to the pitch of the ribs of the trapezoidal sheet metal and the snow and wind loads of the system installation area
• Place a few pieces of CG INT butyl tape (minimum piece length 80 mm) on the contact surface between the SolarFlat/SolarFlat P 400 profile and the trapezoidal metal sheet ribs
• Place the profile on the trapezoidal sheet metal
• In case of fastening using ALG rivets, place the profile on the trapezoidal metal sheet and drill the profile and metal sheet together with a 5.5 mm diameter drill bit
• In case of fixing with SolarScrew 6x25 EPDM self-drilling screws, predrill only the SolarFlat profile at the position where the fixing is to be done. Place the already pre-drilled profile on the sheet metal and screw the self-drilling screw by driving it through the pre-hole
