Overview:

  • The phenomenon of water hammer occurs inside pipelines in case of sudden opening and closing of a utility (faucet, mixer, etc.), through which damaging overpressures are generated inside the system. Once the overpressure wave is generated, it adds to the pressure already present in the pipeline and stabilizes at higher values than the initial ones
  • The FAR ram antibody cushions the effect of such overpressures, thus preserving the proper functioning of the components present in the system. Its task is also to significantly reduce the noise generated by the vibrations that occur as a result of the sudden closure of the intercepts.
