The interface can play prerecorded telephone messages, transmit data in GPRS mode, recognize DTMF tones, and send and receive SMS. It can also establish communication to a remote alarm centralization location (management center) via SIA-IP protocol over data channel. The interface is housed directly on the CPU board of the central unit.
