The disconnector, otherwise called voltage isolator, has the same of a switch, but on a larger scale: it is, in fact, responsible for closing the flow of energy to the power plants. This serves mainly to ensure the safety of the plant and primarily of the people who work inside since one of its peculiarities is to separate the flow of energy from the working environment. Another peculiarity of this instrument is the ability to detect defects in the electrical flow and isolate them. When the defect is corrected, the switch disconnector will ensure that the current flows normally again.

 

The E 90 series fuse disconnect switches are suitable for opening and closing circuits under load, ensuring protection against short circuits and overloads.

The body is made of self-extinguishing, high temperature resistant thermoplastic materials (all materials are UL listed) while the contact clamps are made of silver-plated copper. The E 90 Fusible Disconnect Switches are pluggable and padlockable for the safety of operators during maintenance.

 

For quick and easy installation, the E 90 range is compatible with the connection bars, caps and terminals of the S 200 series circuit breakers.

 

Thanks to the cURus approval, it is possible to install them inside UL certified machines, intended for the American market.
