VLB3... is a drive with compact dimensions (book format) with three-phase power input. It is suitable for general use and, in particular, for lifting and handling pumps and fans, thanks to some specific built-in functions (S-curves, PID, quadratic torque control). No space is required for ventilation on the sides, thus allowing several drives to be installed side by side. The user interface, consisting of keypad and display, allows intuitive access to the configuration parameters thanks to the use of extended texts for function descriptions in addition to codes. With the accessories for USB or Wi-Fi connection, programming, monitoring and diagnostics can be done via PC with the VLBXSW software, which can be downloaded free of charge from the website www.LovatoElectric.com.

The RS485 communication port with Modbus-RTU protocol (integrated in the VLB3...A480 complete drives) and the integrated EMC filter complete the hardware equipment.

The logic unit can be replaced with one of the VLBXL... codes, obtaining a communication port with different protocol.
